A 38-year-old Wathena, Kansas resident suffered serious injuries in a one vehicle accident just south of St. Joseph Sunday night around ten o'clock.
According to a Missouri Highway Patrol Report, Kenneth Wells was southbound on I-29 when his pick up traveled off the east side of the roadway, overcorrected, went off the west side and struck a guardrail, ejecting Wells through the driver side window.
Wells was taken to Mosiac Life in St. Joseph. The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Buchanan County Sheriffs Office.
